To make sure you get the perfect fit, start by measuring your toilet bowl. Use a tape measure to check the distance from the center of the two mounting holes at the back of the bowl to the very front edge of the toilet rim.
- Round bowls typically measure about 16½ inches in length.
- Elongated bowls are usually around 18½ inches in length.

What to Do If Your Toilet Seat Is Missing Installation Hardware
Most toilet seats come with the required mounting bolts and nuts for proper installation. If you discover that your seat’s hardware is missing, here are your options:
