topseat Announces U.S. Trademark Registration for Magic Hinge®

PLANO, Texas, October 13, 2026. Topseat International, Inc. today announced that MAGIC HINGE has been registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. U.S. Registration No. 8,503,651 was issued on October 13, 2026, on the Principal Register in International Class 11.

Magic Hinge® is the name behind topseat’s magnetic quick-release toilet seat system. The seat lifts off its docking base without tools or release buttons, opening up the space around the hinges and the back of the bowl for easier cleaning. After cleaning, the seat can be placed back onto the docking base, with the magnetic connection helping guide it into position.

The registration marks a milestone for the Magic Hinge® brand and topseat’s focus on making everyday bathroom care more convenient through thoughtful design.
